Reiki is healing energy that originates from universal life source energy. It cannot cause harm and is completely safe. Reiki practitioners use specific hand positions that supports reiki flows into the body where it is needed the most and initiates the innate healing ability of the body. Reiki is a safe and non-invasive widespread healing modality that is being practiced in many countries around the globe. Reiki helps to re-synchronize the energy systems of the body and helps to restore optimum health physically, emotionally and spiritually. There are no side effects to Reiki, it can do no harm or be administered in any incorrect way. Reiki is not a substitute for allopathic medicine, it compliments any therapies. As a Reiki Practitioner, I cannot diagnose, treat or prescribe medications. If you have a health concern, you should always consult a physician.

What does reiki feel like?

During a reiki session, my body may fluctuate in temperature. These fluctuations of ki energy and may be felt like pins-and-needles tingling, hot flashes, goose bumps, chills, throbbing, etc. A practitioner's hands will heat up as a result of the flow of energy through their palms. As a client, you may feel warm, sleepy or yawn as the reiki energy soothes and calms any emotional tension or stress. There are some clients who do not feel anything during a session. This is not abnormal as the energy can be very subtle for some. However, this doesn't mean it is not working for you.

What should I do after a reiki session?

After a session, go easy on yourself. Drink lots of water. You may be tired or sleepy, so try to rest. I would suggest getting a journal and jotting down anything that comes to you after your session. These can be important messages from your spirit team, guides or direction about your future. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Can you do reiki while pregnant?

Yes - 100 percent. I encourage you to communicate with your physician about anything new you are doing. However, reiki will not do harm to you or your baby.
